1.
Most older vinyl-lined inground pools lack basic accessibility like stairs and mod cons like lighting and automation.
2.
It was definitely pool liner replacement time. This one was faded and leaking. Liner leaks can cause structural damage to the pool over time.
3.
The concrete collar (or decking) of the existing pool and some interlock pavers were removed so we could excavate around the pool to add the in-wall stairs and new skimmer lines.
4.
It was time to say bu-bye to that vinyl liner and complete the prep work for the floor bottom and steel walls.
5.
The steel panel has been removed and the fiberglass in-wall steps have been added.
6.
We've replace the original single-track coping with double-track coping. The cost is the same, and now the owner can add a lock-in vinyl cover in the future.
7.
New pool return lines (AKA pipes) and a new skimmer are being installed. We've backfilled the area around the pool to prep for building the concrete decking and reinstalling the owner's interlock.
8.
The big reveal. We reinstalled the original interlock and diving board. They were in good shape and reusing them kept costs down.
9.
Some customers want a liner change to give their pool a completely different look. This owner opted for a vibrant mid-tone blue liner with border that reminded them of the original back when it was installed.
Now the pool positively sparkles on a sunny day!
