CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Spring Pool Opening Crew Member

Reporting to the Service Manager and/or the Service Advisor, Pool Opening Crews will perform a variety of important and time-sensitive jobs to provide an outstanding level of service to our customers. These services include pool openings, weekly maintenance, service calls, installations and product deliveries.  Accuracy and attention to detail are required in documenting all products or services employed for installations and service calls.  This extends to weekly inventory tracking and management.   

Members of the Pool Opening Crew must be physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting and capable of working in all weather conditions. This is a seasonal position, usually of six to eight weeks' duration, and running from mid-late April until early-mid June.  School schedules can be accommodated.

Seasonal Yard & Delivery Technician

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Seasonal Yard & Technician is responsible for warehouse transfers, pulling customer orders from stock and delivering hot tubs, pool kits and other required deliveries. Ensuring a positive customer experience is an essential element of the job and this individual will ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer orders and the timeliness of deliveries. All paperwork must be fully and properly completed to the satisfaction of the customer and Company, and every customer contact must demonstrate a high degree of courtesy and professionalism.

The Seasonal Yard & Delivery Technician will assist as required in maintaining the warehouse and all Company property in a neat, clean and organized condition. Additionally, the Seasonal Yard & Technician will provide assistance and support to the retail and service departments as needed.  This individual must be aware of any potential hazards on every project and act accordingly. Hazards are to be assessed, controlled or eliminated and reported to customers, co-workers and management.

Pool & Spa Master Service Technician

A minimum of 5 years experience working as a pool and spa service technician is required for this position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Pool & Spa Master Service Technician will be involved in most aspects of pool installations and maintenance including deliveries, installations, pool openings and closings, weekly maintenance and service calls. This individual will also assist in the delivery and set up of hot tubs as may be required from time to time.

The Pool & Spa Master Service Technician is expected to assume ownership and responsibility for every assigned project to ensure a positive experience for the customer. This individual, through a combination of training and experience, will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform all elements of the job and be able to competently answer any customer enquiries. This individual will be capable of and responsible for assessing unanticipated issues they may encounter which exceed the original scope of work, and be able to take the appropriate measures needed to achieve a satisfactory resolution. Additionally, the Pool & Spa Master Service Technician must remain alert and aware of any potential hazards on projects. Hazards are to be assessed, controlled or eliminated, reported to customers, co-workers and management, and recorded on the job sheet.

Delivering exceptional service to our customers in performing these duties is an essential component of this position.

Service Advisor

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor will often be the primary liaison between the customer and Service Department for the scheduling of all service related activities. This individual will field general inquiries from customers ranging from product and equipment sales and service, to water testing and equipment issues and malfunctions. As the "go to" customer contact, this role requires broad technical and product knowledge, and a commitment to delivering a superior level of service at every opportunity.

This is a vitally important position within the organization; it can be challenging, demanding and time consuming; it can be sometimes frustrating and often rewarding; but in every respect, it is an essential component of a customer-centric company dedicated to providing truly outstanding service.

Retail Store Manager

Reporting to the Controller, the Retail Store Manager oversees, plans and directs the Company's retail operations.  This individual utilizes sound leadership practices in all aspects of sales and service by facilitating, delegating and acting as necessary to advance the reputation and efficiency of the retail store.  As a manager, this individual anticipates and executes sound inventory management strategies to optimize shelf management, product sales and inventory turns, while controlling costs and shrinkage.  As a leader, the Retail Store Manager sets the standard for the department through demonstrated excellence in teamwork, customer service, interpersonal skills and inter-department cooperation and support.

The efficiency of the retail operation will be the most obvious reflection of this manager's knowledge, skills, ability and desire to make a difference.  Departmental performance will be dictated by the Retail Store Manager's capacity to train, influence, encourage and direct the retail staff, while effectively multi-tasking to plan, organize, direct and monitor the physical inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising activities of the department.

Retail Associate

Reporting to the Retail Manager or the Assistant Retail Manager, the Retail Sales Associate is usually the first person a customer meets when entering the store. The main objective of this role is to sell, and the very best way to achieve that is to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner and provide customers with caring and attentive service ranging from answering questions or directing them to the appropriate departments, to helping with product selection and registering the sale.

When not engaged with serving customers, the Sales Associate will be required to receive and price orders, clean and stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and maintain the visual appearance of the store.
